On November 4th, a new chapter in language learning began at Fray Luis de León.
The English Coordination proudly launched the English Clinics, a dynamic initiative designed to strengthen specific language skills among students in the Junior High Division. This project is the result of thoughtful planning and a deep understanding of our students’ needs.
We identified key areas for improvement and crafted a program focused on three essential skills: Reading, Writing, and Listening. Our vision was clear:
“let’s create a space where students could receive targeted support and practice beyond the regular classroom setting”
Your English only gets better when you practice more…
? A Schedule Built for Success
The clinics are held every Twice a week.
From November 4 to December 11
Offering students an additional three hours of English practice per week.
This after-school format allows learners to engage in meaningful activities without interfering with their regular academic schedule. It’s not just extra time…
It’s an extra opportunity.
???? A Community That Responds
Since the idea was introduced two weeks ago, the response from parents has been overwhelmingly positive.
We are thrilled to report that three groups of up to 12 students each have already been formed, with each group focusing on one of the main skills.
The feedback has been encouraging, and students are showing great enthusiasm and commitment.
? Looking Ahead
With such a promising start, we are already planning the next round of clinics.
We aim to expand the program and offer full English immersion experiences.
