Messages of hope in a big wall – Thanksgiving!

Our high school students experienced a meaningful and inspiring Thanksgiving celebration through a special collaborative project with the Jr. High section. Together, they explored the true essence of Thanksgiving—its history, its purpose, and the deep value of gratitude in our daily lives.

In a personal and emotional moment, each student had the chance to express what they are grateful for. Many spoke about their families, friendships, opportunities, challenges that helped them grow, and the presence of God in their lives. These heartfelt expressions connected beautifully with our Augustinian values, reminding us that gratitude begins with interior reflection and grows stronger when we share it with others.

In line with our pedagogical approach, this activity encouraged students to learn through collaboration, dialogue, and personal discovery. It invited them to look within, to value their community, and to understand that every blessing—big or small—is a gift from God.

This Thanksgiving project was not only educational; it was a powerful experience that touched hearts, strengthened bonds, and reminded our students that gratitude is a path to joy, unity, and growth. It was a celebration full of meaning, reflection, and the warm spirit of our identity.
